    3.) 2011 National Championship

In a rematch of that season's "Game of the Century," the 2011 Alabama Football team went into the New Orleans Super Dome with something to prove, holding LSU to a shutout and preventing their offense from even crossing midfield.

    2.) 1992 National Championship

In Alabama's first National Championship after Coach Bryant retired, Coach Gene Stallings lead a quiet and confident Tide against a trash talking Miami squad.

    1.) 1978 National Championship

Alabama vs Penn State; Bear vs Joe Pa; Bryant vs Paterno; SEC vs Big 10: the 1979 Sugar Bowl was a going to be a classic and the real event didn't disappoint. Coming down to one of the most famous plays in history, The Tide saved the National Championship with the "Goal Line Stand." Also debuting that day was Big Al, UA's costumed mascot.
