The Tuscalooas Top 5 - Spring Break Getaways

Still haven't decided what to do for Spring Break 2013? We've got a few ideas for ya!

  •
Feeling adventurous? How about a cruise to the Bahamas? You might think that a cruise costs a lot, but if you do a little research there are very affordable packages available for Spring break getaways!
  •
Not really into the idea of being on a boat? You could always stick with a fun trip to the beach. Alabama's Gulf Shores and Florida's Panama City Beach are both great destinations with fun attractions for all ages!
  •
Maybe you aren't an ocean loving individual. Maybe your life is busy and you just want a break from your normal routine. How about a trip to the mountains? Pack your bags and rent a little cabin in the mountains for you and your loved ones! This is an affordable escape from the hustle and bustle of life in the city!

Here's a different idea altogether... Atlanta. While you're there, be sure to visit the Coke Museum where you can try flavors of Coke from all around the world and explore the history of Coke! You can also explore the CNN building, and visit the aquarium while you're in town! While you're at the Georgia Aquarium, you might even want to swim with the beluga whales like Becca did! This one's for the adventurous person who doesn't want to go to the beach or anywhere very far away from home. Take a camping trip to a local State Park. Check out http://www.alapark.com for location ideas. No matter where you live in the state of Alabama, there is bound to be a beautiful park nearby. Grab a tent from your local sporting goods store, pack your bags, and head to the park for a simple, yet enjoyable, adventure.
